Do you enjoy working "hands-on" with parents and children? Or are you looking for an "at home" volunteer opportunity, like providing telephone support to parents? Or could you offer your specialized skills for a one-time project? No matter what your situation, Families Matter offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities.

We believe that all families matter and we are here to help them. We offer 11 education and support programs for over 10,000 Calgary families a year. Our programs focus on parenting resources and courses, in-home family programming, early childhood development and postpartum support. We also offer specialized services for dads, teens, single parents, immigrant and Aboriginal families.

We believe in strengthening families through life's transitions. Our volunteers are essential to our achievement of this mission.
