At the Heart of the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program® is a group experience for parents and their babies and young children which focuses on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs, and stories together. Stretch & Play

Join us for Yoga Play! This class is suitable for children aged 3-5 and their caregiver. This class is designed to bring caregivers and their child together to explore the benefits of health and wellness while learning basic yoga postures through stories, games and play! The last 5-10 minutes of this class we will focus on breathing and relaxation techniques that children can use anywhere when they are dealing with big emotions! The first hour will be yoga play and the second hour we will share a healthy snack and participate in free play.

Perinatal Mood Illness Support Group

Are you pregnant and experiencing difficult emotions such as anger, anxiety, stress or depression? We are here to help. Group will meet once a week with a trained professional who will lead the discussion. You will get support and your questions will be answered. Triple P suggests simple routines and small changes that can make a big difference for families. The classes are deigned to help parents understand parenting skills through observation, discussion, practice and feedback. Playwork: Not Just Child’s Play is a workshop for professionals and those working with children. Mandarin Triple P - Managing Fighting and Aggression

Please note this discussion group is delivered in Mandarin. It is natural for children to have disagreements or arguments at times. However, when children fight, the risk is that someone will be hurt. If not dealt with early, fighting and aggression can get worse. Children may not learn better ways of behaving without help from their parents. This discussion group will give some suggestions to help you teach your child to solve problems and get along with others.

An Interactive training workshop from the Psychology foundation of Canada for Professionals who work with Families and children in early learning and care environment. The Kids Have Stress Too (KHST!®) Program is based on evidence that will help, Young children learn practical strategies to relieve stress, and effective ways to respond to stressful situation situations. By Learning to cope with life's ups and downs, children develop healthy strategies that help them to adapt, self -regulate, be resourceful, feel competent and become more resilient. Make the Connection®: 0-3 Training Workshop

MAKE THE CONNECTION© (MTC) programs put attachment theory into fun and purposeful activities. Parents and caregivers learn what babies need to form secure attachments and reflect on their important parenting role. This workshop is for staff with an educational background and/or working experience with infants and toddlers. This workshop will be useful to home visitors or individuals interested in expanding their knowledge about parent-child attachment and incorporating it into their work. You will learn how to use songs and rhymes, everyday toys and other activities to strengthen parent-baby bonding as well as learn how to make the most of parent discussions and instructional DVDs.
